Recovery of ionic detectors

As part of the gradual replacement of ion detectors provided for by the interministerial decrees of 18 November, 2011 and 6 March 2012, the recovery and dismantling of ionic detectors must be carried out in accordance with regulatory obligations relating to radiation protection and environmental protection. (DRIRE constraints – ICPE establishment: Classified Establishment for the Protection of the Environment holder of an operating permit and the Nuclear Safety Authority (ASN)) and must be the subject of the issue of a recovery certificate.

The transportation and handling of these detectors are also strictly regulated by the Nuclear Safety Authority.

As a holder of the ASN authorisation number F410004, DEF is authorised to handle all these procedures for the recovery, dismantling, transportation and handling of ionic detectors.
